This fun, informative and very practical course won’t see you sat in front of a powerpoint presentation for hours on end – we’ve been in those sort of courses, they are mind numbingly boring and you don’t learn anything! A first aid course shouldn’t be something that is “done” to you, it should be a positive learning experience, using modern teaching methods and practices that give you confidence and help you retain that important information should you ever need it.

The ITC Level 3 Award in Outdoor First Aid Training course covers the essentials of managing immediate, potentially life threatening incidents in an outdoors environment, delivered in 2 x 8 hour sessions (2 days).

Assessment takes place throughout the course using continued observation of practical competency. The two day course allows for further application and development of the techniques in practical scenarios. Meaning that candidates have a chance to develop their confidence in applying their new skills in a variety of real locations and settings.

Other information:
This is a practical outdoor course, the second day in particular we will be spending a large amount of time outside -almost regardless of the weather. So pleaseensure you are appropriately dressed, including decent footwear.
Hot drinks and light refreshments are provided, but you will need to bring a packed lunch with you.
You will receive a first aid manual as part of the course, but you may wish to bring additional paper and pens to make notes.
If you’d like an electronic copy of the course materials, please bring along a memory stick.
