Flora Oxley

Apprenticeship Tutor

“I love working with different people! So far, my time in the industry has allowed me to do this in a variety of different countries and environments. Now working with Apprentices across the North of England I can meet people ready to start their careers in the outdoors. I can offer support with different routes into the industry and advice on how to get there.

Personally, my favourite activities are water based, whether it be kayaking, canoeing, stand up paddleboarding or Coasteering. Living in the Lake District gives me great access to all of these activities as well as some great mountain routes.”

Flora’s previous experience includes leading and supporting those undertaking their Duke of Edinburgh Award in the desert environment of the United Arab Emirates and canoe guiding along the Ardèche river in the south of France. As well as this she has provided tailored courses, expeditions, and outdoor adventures in the Lake District, to help others achieve their learning outcomes through education and adventure.
